Partnership With 2nd Mountain Rod & Gun Club

The Coldstream Kitchen is partnered to serve out of the Second Mountain Rod and Gun Club’s establishment which makes for an atmosphere that is rugged but welcoming. The club is open to the public - ALL ARE WELCOME! Patrons do not need to have a membership to eat here, however, if a patron wishes to drink alcohol, an established club member must sign them in and buy their beverage. A non-club member can be signed in to consume alcohol just 3 times before a membership becomes a requirement. Pick and choose amongst a variety of different tastes and share with friends and family. The Club, a nonprofit organization, provides all beer and cocktail needs with some of the cheapest prices around. Come on in and enjoy a truly unique dining experience!

How The Coldstream Kitchen Started

“It was actually by accident,” said Tyler Sterner. He and his brother Travis had cooked and worked in the restaurant industry for many years. One day they were having a few drinks at the Second Mountain Rod & Gun Club when they landed on the topic of owning a restaurant of their own.

By chance, the main trustees of the club overheard their conversation and approached the brothers about operating out of the club’s kitchen. The Gun Club restaurant had previously been a simple bar food style set up that only served members of the Second Mountain Rod & Gun Club since the beginning of 2020.

Seeing the opportunity for their restaurant’s vision to come to fruition Tyler & Travis jumped at the opportunity to open The Coldstream Kitchen.
